Guest Experience

Be the first to welcome guests as soon as they arrive, answer any questions they might have, welcome them into an authentic worship experience, and assist them in finding their next step at King of Kings.

Serve with Kids

Our kids ministry team loves and leads kids to Jesus. Volunteers help to lead a small group, facilitate large group teaching, assist on the tech team, and welcome kids as they arrive. Join us for a fun-filled, Jesus-focused morning.

Nursery

Join us in the nursery to care for our youngest members. Volunteers provide a loving and safe environment so parents can worship knowing their child is well-cared for.

Serve with Students

Are you interested in serving with our Student Ministry? We’d love to have your help! We can use volunteers on Sunday mornings as well as Wednesday nights.

Production

Help create an environment that removes distractions and draws people into worship and connection with God.

Photo & Video

Our Photo & Video Team captures how God is moving in the Church and shares those items on social media.

Load-In Team

Northwest Campus

Our Load-In Team prepares the spaces that we gather in for worship, teaching, and kids ministry. This team is the first wave every Sunday to cover the spaces in intentional care to steward our time together well.

Load-Out Team

Northwest Campus

Our Load-Out Team ensures that all of our resources are properly placed where they belong in an organized and orderly fashion. This team stewards every physical piece so that they can be ready and in working condition for the following Sunday.

Worship

Our worship team helps create an environment for our people to connect with God as they lead us in worship. We can use everything from musicians to vocalists. All levels of interest and experience are invited to learn more.

Setup & Teardown (Levites)

Volunteers will help with things like setting up tables and chairs for ministry events.

Prayer

Prayer is powerful. Join our team that prays over individuals, schools, our city, the nation, and our world.

Facilities

Serve behind the scenes, making our place ready for ministry. We have opportunities to set up and tear down ministry activities, as well as perform general maintenance and skilled repairs. All skill levels are welcome!

Safety & Security

Each weekend we want to provide a safe environment for people to come to worship. All levels of interest and experience are invited to learn more.

The Care Ministry Team at King of Kings has several opportunities for you to serve in the care and visitation ministry area.

Standing Bear Elementary

Serve together at our partner school.

Concordia Jr./Sr. High School

Serve together at our partner school/site of our Northwest Omaha Campus.

Victory Team

The Victory Team’s mission is to lift up the Pastoral staff and their families in prayer.

Food Ministry

Our food ministry is dedicated to preparing meals for the church to enjoy together, creating fellowship, and welcoming newcomers into our building.

Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML)

The Women in Mission (LWML) assists each woman of the church in using her gifts of service to minister to the people of our congregation, community, and God’s kingdom at large.

Embrace Teachers

Embrace Teachers provides conference meals, classroom supplies, encouragement gifts & cards and prayer for seven schools in the Omaha Public School district. Volunteers are needed throughout the year for baking and serving meals, writing and preparing gifts & cards and completing special projects.

Patty’s Pantry

Patty’s Pantry assembles and delivers backpack meals to eight schools in the Omaha Public School district. Children who receive the backpack meals are dependent on the schools for the majority of their meals during the week. Backpack meals provide them with assurance that they will have food at home on the weekends.

Kids Kount Publishing

Kids Kount Publishing is part of King of King’s global outreach to serve churches and individuals with free online resources for children and family ministry. We supply 580 lessons from age 2 through grade 6.
