All In!

This year, we’re starting something new called: All In. September 12-26, we as a church will discover what it means to live generously through our love, serving, and giving. We’re asking every single person to give at least $20.21 on top of their tithe. If we have 100% participation on this, we will accomplish all seven projects we have planned, which will have a huge impact with the ministry of our partners. Learn more.

City Serve

City Serve is about ONE church working together for the good of ONE city. Thousands of volunteers unleashing over 10,000 hours of unprecedented compassion in partnership with local schools, city parks, food banks, blood banks, children’s hospitals, children’s homes, homes for seniors, homeless centers, first responders, juvenile centers and so much more!  City Serve isn’t an event, but a movement of people who declare in word and action, “We love OUR city,” and are committed to seeing it flourish.  Register today for a project! It’s totally free and there’s a t-shirt included. Keep reading for project details and to get registered. Learn more.

Forgiving Challenge

Join us for our new series Forgiving Challenge beginning Sunday, September 26. In this 40-day journey, you will discover what real freedom is like as we explore the powerful forgiveness that Jesus offers to each and every person, including you!

Go deeper with Forgiving Challenge small groups, meeting on Wednesdays beginning October 6. Each night will have dinner at 5:30PM and continue with a video and discussion at 6:30PM. Confirmation and Kids Kamp are also available.

Forgiving Challenge Books are available for pick up on Sundays at the Next Steps Room or Monday-Thursday, 8AM-5PM, Inside North (Office) Doors. Books are $10, and 100% of proceeds go to RISE. RISE offers in-prison programming, job, and life skills training to help individuals with criminal histories find freedom from cycles of incarceration.

Are you currently leading a small group? Small groups are one of the best ways to disciple people and we’re grateful you’ve taken the initiative to lead. As we work towards creating a cohesive small group ministry at King of Kings, we’re trying to get a better handle on what groups already exist. Fill out this brief form to help us construct a ministry that will help you and your group grow and succeed. Thank you!

Serve at the Open Door Mission

At King of Kings, being part of the Omaha community is a huge part of who we are as a church. There are many ways to engage with the community and our ministry partners.

The Open Door Mission is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty in our community. We want to encourage you to serve with our ministry partner, Open Door Mission, on their campus or from your home. Check out the opportunities and sign up at opendoormission.org/volunteer.

Safety & Security Team

Join our team of dedicated volunteers who help keep us safe every weekend, both inside and outside of our building. If you’re interested in joining or learning more about this team, please contact security@kingofkings.org.
