Being Challenge

Starting September 13, we’ll be taking the Being Challenge in all of our worship venues. A followup to the Red Letter Challenge, the Being Challenge is a 40-day study designed to help us be more like Jesus. We want you and your friends to join us in this. So much so, we’re making the books free! You can now pick up books on Sunday mornings, or at our north (office) doors Monday-Friday during business hours. Reminder: While the series starts September 13, our 40 days of the challenge will begin Tuesday, September 15

The Being Challenge is also great for small groups, especially as we resume Small Group Wednesdays starting Sept. 16 at 7:30PM. Learn more at kingofkings.org/being-challenge

New Worship Times

On September 13 we’ll be kicking off new worship times.
8AM • Classic (Indoor)
9AM • Modern (Outdoor)
10AM • Online
11AM • Modern (Indoor) with Kids Kount and Student Ministry

Throughout COVID-19, our commitment has been to provide a safe, spacious, secure, and sanitized place of worship. As more worship opportunities come inside, we will continue this focus with social distancing, requiring masks in accordance with our governmental guidelines, and regular sanitization of surfaces.

CityServe

Join us as we serve our community this September through CityServe. This year CityServe is a week of serving with several different ways to get involved, either from home or serving out and about. It’s completely free this year, and you get a shirt when you register! You can sign up at the red tent or kingofkings.org/cityserve. One project we’re really excited about is offering free haircuts to children age 18 & under. If you’re a licensed cosmetologist, we could use your help! You can find details on that at kingofkings.org/hairstyle

Ladies Bible Study

How do we say our best yes to God? Lysa Terkeurst wants to help us discern God’s will in the many decisions we face day-to-day in the study, “The Best Yes.” This study will begin Sept. 15 from 9:30AM to 11AM.

Much of life has changed due to COVID-19, but not our ability to study God’s word. How we do that will look a little different. To keep you safe and secure, our meeting room capacities are reduced. To help accomodate as many women as possible we have three ladies who have opened their homes up to a small group of women. We will also offer an online option. The locations for the host homes can be found in the registration form.

A safe, sanitized, and secure nursery option is available for children ages 0 to 5 years old. Register today at kingofkings.org/women

Confirmation Service

Join us Saturday, September 19 at 10AM as we celebrate our 2020 confirmation class. With over forty students being confirmed, this service is the culmination of two years of learning, serving, and growing.

This year we will celebrate Confirmation in an outdoor service, with ample room to social distance.
