Becky Smith

Becky has been a licensed counselor in the Omaha area for about 10 years. She got her Masters from Grace University and her music undergrad from UNL. She primarily works with teens, young adults, and families who have adopted. As a Korean adoptee herself, she has enjoyed meeting with adoptees over the years, talking about the unique goodness and grief that come with international adoption. 

Becky has been married for 30 years, has 4 adult kids, and a beautiful grandchild. In the past she worked as a teaching parent in a residential teen program, so enjoys talking about parenting and working with teens and young adults. Becky believes in living out of our strengths and getting very precise about what those strengths are, she enjoys utilizing Internal Family Systems with clients, and imagines with them a world where Compassion and Hope get the microphone again.
