Becky Smith

Becky has been a licensed counselor in the Omaha area for about 10 years. She got her Masters in Clinical and Mental Health from Grace University in Omaha and her Bachelors of Music from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Becky has been married for about 30 years, has adult kids and a beautiful grandchild. Becky’s most treasured and favorite-est job has been being a mom. She has worked in a counseling private practice for 10 years; it has been her honor to work in the areas of depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, career shifts, being an entrepreneur, parenting, the demands of full time ministry, and aspects of domestic and international adoption. She believes in God’s love, gut laughter, and the phrase: “how do you eat an elephant?? One bite at a time….”

Becky utilizes Internal Family Systems theory; likes to help people honor all of their parts and live out of their strengths. People call her easy and safe to talk to and kind of like a “life cheerleader”.

For those who are just trying counseling for the first time or maybe you have tried it in the past and did not have a good experience — consider it like a “foot in the door” type of an appointment. Becky enjoys referring to people in her network who specialize in specific areas, as well.  (**Consultation Appointment is private pay only, not insurance eligible).

Becky schedules 30 minute consultation appointments where she can help you with questions like:
