Capture the Flag Middle School Event

Millard Campus

Attention, all middle school students: Get ready for a crazy night of intense capture-the-flag with flashing lights, crazy obstacles, and intense challenges. We’re taking over The Haven and The Well for this awesome night on May 2 from 6-8PM. This night is open to all grade 6—grade 8 students. Food and drinks will be provided, so be sure to invite a friend and register today.

Vacation Bible School

Millard Campus

What if your child could step into a full week of exploring and growing their friendship with Jesus? Our True North VBS will let kids experience the faithful, trust-worthy love of Jesus while enjoying Bible events, games, crafts, and worship songs. Children who will be age 4 by July 31, 2025 through those who have finished grade 4 are welcome to register. Older students and adults can volunteer to serve.

June 9-13 at our Millard Campus and June 16-20 at the Northwest Omaha Campus

 

A New Name For Our I Street Campus

Millard Campus

Our I Street Campus is becoming our Millard Campus! This name change brings more uniformity to how our campuses are named, while also making it more clear from the name alone where the Millard campus is located.

National Day of Prayer Worship

All Campuses
King of Kings is hosting the 2025 National Day of Prayer Worship Service for the greater Omaha area on May 1. Local ministries will lead worship, and Jed Mullenix from Within Reach will be our keynote speaker. Learn more and register today.

Father Daughter Dance

King of Kings’ Annual Father-Daughter Dance is May 31 at 6:30PM in the Courtyard, weather and construction permitting; if not, don’t worry—we can always move the party to the Well. Enjoy music, games, snacks, crafts, and sweet memories—don’t miss out on this special night.

MomCo Tea & Bingo

All Campuses
King of Kings MomCo invites all moms with kids ages 0–18 to Mamas Tea & Bingo on Friday, May 9, from 9:30–11:30 AM in The Well. Child care will be available starting at 9:15AM.Be sure to register to join the fun.

Student Scholarships

All Campuses

Two scholarships are available to support students who are active members of King of Kings and planning to pursue careers through Christian education.

The Vogt Scholarship helps cover tuition and course-related expenses for students attending or planning to attend a Lutheran school. It’s open to graduating high school seniors and recent graduates pursuing a professional ministry career.

The A & B Winstrom Scholarship provides similar financial assistance for students attending or planning to attend a Christian school with the intent of entering non-professional ministry roles.

Baptism Sunday

King of Kings is hosting Baptism Sunday on April 13. We will celebrate baptisms at 8, 9, and 11AM at Millard and 9:15 and 11AM at Northwest Omaha. If you would like to be baptized, have your child baptized, or renew and remember your baptism, Baptism Sunday is a perfect time to take that step in your faith journey.

European Rivers and Castles Tour

As Pastor Roger officially retires on August 3, he’s celebrating by leading a Rivers and Castles Tour in Europe with his wife, Cheryl. This adventure is from September 30 to October 9, with options to tour Prague and/or Paris. Together we’ll visit inspiring sites and cultures, as well as have plenty of fun. The greatest inspiration comes from the God of grace who’s active in our lives! The theme for this trip is “Majesty!” and each day features an insightful devotional thought. Join us for a fun-filled adventure and get inspired along the way!

Connect Groups: 2025 Winter Season

Millard Campus
Humans were created to have community and connection with one another, but we often feel like we just don’t have time for new relationships. Join a Connect Group and you’ll experience the life-changing effect that authentic community centered around God’s word can have on your life. Find your Connect Group and sign up at kingofkings.org/groups!
This season will begin January 29 and run through April 2. Many Connect Groups meet in homes throughout the week, and King of Kings also hosts Connect Groups on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45PM. Children’s programming is provided on these nights, as well as a meal courtesy of our food team from 5:30-6:30PM.

2025 LCMS Youth Gathering

The 2025 National Youth Gathering will be held in New Orleans, LA, from July 19-23. King of Kings will be sending a group to the gathering. More information and pricing will be available soon, but get the dates on your calendar!

Matthew Bible Study

Starting December 1, Neil Fortkamp will lead a Bible study on Matthew for any interested adults from 8-9AM at King of Kings Northwest, in room 308.

We’re excited to give you free access to RightNow Media — an extensive library of Bible study resources. We believe that RightNow Media is a tool that can help you live out your faith in every area of your life—at home, at work, and in your community. In addition to video series on books of the Bible, RightNow Media has videos for everyone in your family on a variety of topics like marriage, parenting, personal finances, mental health, and more. There’s even a library just for kids with over 2,000 safe, entertaining videos. RightNow Media has a free app that’s available on all major streaming devices so you and your family can access content anywhere, anytime.
