  • As of May 3 at 5PM, The Relevant Center will no longer serve as the hub for Omaha Rapid Response.
  • Omaha Rapid Response will now set up their volunteering dispatch site at Bethany Lutheran Church (4200 N 204th St)
  • Donation drop-off and pick-up sites will be held at the Christian Outreach Program of Elkhorn (20601 Elkhorn Drive) and Heartland Hope Mission (15555 Industrial Road)

Samaritan’s Purse is ready for volunteers to support relief efforts in our community from May 1 through Saturday, May 11! If you’re interested and able to serve in this way, check out the details below.

  • What’s Needed: Volunteers will assist those affected by recent tornadoes with roof tarping, debris cleanup, and chainsaw work. No skills are necessary prior to serving. You’ll be led and instructed by experienced team leaders.
  • Minimum Age: Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age or older. Youth ages 14-15 must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian, and youth ages 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
  • For Your Serving Day: As a Local/Day volunteer, you’ll need to bring a bagged lunch, water, and hand sanitizer. To be scheduled,contact the Samaritan’s Purse site at 402-480-9973 at least 24 hours in advance.
