Job Details
We seek a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Communications Intern. In this role, you will work closely with our Graphic Designer, Project Manager, and the broader Creative Team to assist the Creative Department with the design, production, and implementation of communication materials, both digital and physical. This includes contributing to graphic design, printing, signage setup, and supporting overall communication strategies to meet King of Kings’ creative needs.
As the Communications intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about the latest design trends and techniques and gain valuable hands-on experience working on real-life projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field and build a strong portfolio.

Job Responsibilities
General

Primary
- Collaborate with the creative team to design and develop visual materials for both print and digital platforms.
- Assist with the layout and production of communication assets such as brochures, posters, slides, and social media graphics.
- Support the preparation, printing, and distribution of communication pieces, including trimming, mounting, and other finishing processes.
- Help set up signage and displays throughout the church building or event locations, ensuring correct placement and consistency with brand standards.
- Maintain brand integrity across all internal and external visual communications.
- Stay informed on current design and production trends, tools, and techniques, offering creative input as appropriate.
- Adapt existing designs for different formats or mediums as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Education
Preferred Requirement
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.

1. Must be a practicing Christian, with a desire to grow spiritually.

4. Attend weekly meetings and check-ins with supervisor
5. Strong portfolio of design work, including examples of print and digital designs
6. Proficiency with macOS and design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
7. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow branding guidelines
8. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
9. Enthusiasm for learning and growing as a designer
