This role provides executive administrative support to King of Kings, specifically the Central Leadership Team.

Job Responsibilities

General

  • Uphold the mission of King of Kings to transform lives through connection to God, connection to each other, and connection to the World.
  • Be fully committed to the Great Commission, (Matthew 28:18-20), and its implementation at King of Kings Lutheran Church. Hold fast to the mission and support King of Kings Leadership in following Jesus, the Head of the Church.
  • Be reliant on Him in prayer, be authentic in our relationship with each other, be courageous in serving Him, and be generous and love others to impact the world in ways He has uniquely called us to serve Him here at King of Kings.
  • Required to serve at four all-in events (Christmas, Easter, and two campus-specific events). This position will also need to serve on an occasional Sunday AM, estimated at no more 6-8 per year (Super Sundays / Baptism Sunday).

Primary

  • Maintain and manage calendars for team members, specifically the Central Leadership Team. This includes organizing all meetings, scheduling room reservations, ordering catering, and serving as hospitality host as needed.
  • Manage all general invoices and billings for the central campus.
  • Track, order, pull, and organize all central supplies for all campuses. This includes general office supplies, facilities, creative, next steps, guest experience, etc.
  • Oversee and manage website updates for events and pages.
  • Manage Planning Center online, entering all events and workflows within the database.
  • Serve as main contact for Lutheran School Scholarship process and Vogt scholarship.
  • Process dropbox communications and templates for Operations, including board actions.
  • Serve as the Wedding, Baptism, and Funeral Coordinator for Millard. Take incoming phone calls, schedule events, coordinate Pastors, and maintain master calendars.
  • Provide large event admin assistance (vendor communication, click up tasks lists, PCO scheduling, creative communications, etc.)
  • Assist in writing and editing all correspondence for the Central team, including letters, thank you notes, and emails to the congregation.
  • Work with Guest Experiences for King of Kings hosted conferences and outside conferences that King of Kings sponsors or attends.
  • Coordinate all Royal Land and Glory Board meetings.
  • Organize daily correspondence for team members (mail, email, etc.).
  • Serve as a backup to front office, opening doors, greeting clients, etc.
  • Assist in helping create volunteers tasks and supplies.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as directed by the team or Executive Administrative Assistant.

Education

Minimum Requirement

  • High School Diploma plus 3 years of Administrative Experience.

Preferred Requirement

  • 5+ years of Administrative experience.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a practicing Christian, with a desire to grow spiritually.
  2. Knowledge and skill level with all Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Willingness to work with and learn the church database system currently in use is required.
  3. Effective communication, organization, interpersonal, teamwork, discernment, and cognitive skills are required.
  4. This individual needs to take a leadership role and be proficient with multi-tasking and balancing a heavy workload.
  5. Have the ability to gather and organize complex data from multiple sources.
  6. Confidentiality is required.
  7. Take a thorough and organized approach to special projects.
  8. Understanding and modeling Church policies and procedures.
  9. Take initiative having resourcefulness, problem-solving ability, and be capable of completing work without supervision.
  10. Strong communication skills.
