“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the fullest.”
– John 10:10

In this series, we’ll look at the story of Joshua, a leader tasked with bringing to completion a 500-year-old promise of God. We’ll discover the five practical steps that we see in Joshua’s life that helped him fulfill this promise, and how those steps can help us live life to the fullest.

Week 1: Invitation

A life of fulfillment begins with an invitation from our God to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. Graciously, He doesn’t withhold this invitation from anyone.

Week 2: Preparation

A fulfilling life doesn’t happen overnight; it is the end result of consistent and steady preparation. Though God desires to take each of us outside of our comfort zones, God will not place us there without proper preparation and training. The life God invites us into is well worth the preparation.

Week 3: Action

There have been many plans, ideas, and dreams that never come to fruition because there was no action. A fulfilled life always requires action. God not only gives us the faith and courage to take a step, but He promises to go with us. When we take one step, our next step will more clearly be revealed.

Week 4: Trust

A fulfilling life doesn’t equal an easy or safe life. Anything worth fighting for will come with tests and trials along the way. When obstacles come our way, when doubt creeps in, or when our current reality doesn’t match what God has promised, we continue to trust. In the end, whatever obstacles and hurdles we faced will only make the victory that much sweeter.

Week 5: Happiness

God does want you to be happy. We are happiest when we are in continual relationship and partnership with God. After one battle is over, God invites us to jump right back into another. The most fulfillment we can experience on this side of heaven is when we continue to serve God in our own unique ways.
