Groups

Iron Men

Men need to know who they are as warriors for Christ and their calling in this world to lead. This group engages in various DVD, book and Bible studies that challenge men to follow after God’s heart.

Open Door Mission
Bible Study

This group mentors and participates with men at the Open Door Mission for a Saturday morning Bible Study.

Victory Team

The Victory Team’s mission is to lift up the Pastoral staff and their families in prayer. Victory Team members will commit themselves to this ministry for one year and need to maintain a pure and holy lifestyle, regularly read and study the Bible, and be faithful in daily prayer for pastors, their families, and other victory team members.

 

This group of men gathers to pray for the pastors and the life of the church on Sunday morning at 7:30 AM. (Contact? Or where they meet)

One-on-One Teams
We have seen the value of guys having another friend who meets together regularly to discuss life and pray for each other.

This small group meets at 7:15AM on Thursday in The CORE Gathering room. Lead by Nathan Marcus.

This small group meets at 6AM on Friday mornings at HyVee 156th and Maple and is lead by Matt Marty and Ryandean Birge.

In Your Marriage

Marriage Group

Men have the opportunity to gather with their wives and other couples for a social time and encouraging word on how they might be more intentional in the ways to honor and cherish their wives.

Dance
Calling all dads, grandpas, or guardians to join together with other men to make memories with our daughters, showing them the love of Christ.

Dads get away with their sons for a weekend of camping, canoeing, and inspiration. More information on this event to head to the calendar.

God’s Planfor a Man

Fathers and their preteen sons take an overnight weekend to have a great time while discussing what it means to be a man of God. It’s an easy way for dads to have conversations about sex and the coming years of adolescence. More information on this event to head to the calendar.
