Job Details
This role is ideal for a high-caliber leader who serves as the “face of the place.” This person is primarily responsible for all ministry teams, programs, and volunteers at the campus. This includes the role of building teams, identifying leaders, managing for quality, solving problems, championing the purpose and values of King of Kings, and ultimately leading people into a transformed life through Jesus Christ.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual leadership and provide for the general welfare of the campus.
- Shepherd the people of the congregation and invest in personal relationships.
- Take a leadership role in weddings, funerals, and special services.
- Direct oversight and annual reviews of campus staff positions.
- Coordinate with central team on resources, reporting, and staffing.
- Work with central communications to ensure effective messaging, branding, marketing, and engagement.
- Ensure the facility is clean and in good working order.
- Update necessary campus metrics weekly.
- Assess the growth needs of the campus and make recommendations.
- Transfer King of Kings DNA to campus and surrounding community.
- Provide leadership and support to church wide initiatives as needed.
- Model personal evangelism and equip others to do the same.
- Ensure that key volunteer roles are in place and have ongoing support for volunteers in the following departments: kids/students, worship (including music, production, guest experience), community and outreach, etc.
- Oversee the identification, recruitment, and development of new volunteers.
- Provide volunteer coaching and appreciation.
- Oversee the development and implementation of students and kids’ ministry.
- Coordinate with central team on resources, calendar, etc.
- Deliver messages 4x per yearOversee the confirmation program for students.
- Provide assimilation opportunities and follow up
- Administer the sacraments in an orderly fashion.
- Primary live communicator in hosting roles from the platform.
- Develop and implement campus-specific initiatives and objectives to further the mission of King of Kings
- Be the face of King of Kings in the community, provide clear community presence
- Organize and implement effective outreach and service to the community

Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Ordained through the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod
- 3+ years leadership experience
Requirements:
- Profess and/or adhere to the Confessional standards set in Article III of the Constitution of King of Kings Lutheran Church. Align with the purpose and values of the King of Kings Church.
- Must be a spiritually mature Christian leading a life of committed discipleship and committed to the mission, vision, and core values of King of Kings.
- Must be diligent in personal devotions and prayer.
- Must understand the implications for worship due to differences in generations and modern/postmodern worldviews.
- Experienced and proficient in speaking, with a strong and confident voice and stage presence.
- Willingness to cooperate in multi-staff ministry. Experience preferred.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organization, discernment, and cognitive skills are required.
