Discussion Questions: Please discuss one, or more, of the following questions
  1. Of the four types of power discussed (physical strength, beauty, wealth, and charisma), which do you have experience with? Which do you wish you had more of?
  2. What personal experience do you have of powerlessness? How did it teach you humility? How might that experience motivate you to act on behalf of others with the power the Lord has entrusted to you?
  3. How are you most tempted to use power in unhealthy ways? Over whom or what circumstance do you most want to exercise power that is only God’s to exercise?
  4. How does the fact of God’s omnipotence comfort you personally? How does it shape your understanding of the miracle of salvation?
